Knew that face yesterday
today, no more
yesterday’s fleshy sun and smile
today, has gone
cheekbones of a taurus
tight, no choice
smile never touching iris
tight, no voice
I will know you tomorrow
sick and poor
knew my face yesterday
today, no more.
